Summer 2004

This year, HATband has been invited to perform at the NB Highland Games and Scottish Festival on the grounds of Old Government House in Fredericton. HATband will

perform a 45-minute show on Saturday, July 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the large Entertainment Tent.

The group plays a bouncy mix including traditional Celtic and Maritime fiddle tunes, original songs and ballads and even a little rock and roll.

Why HATband? The name comes from the first letters of the original three members: Hayes, Andrews and Toner. Actually, there are two Toners but the group thought the name THATband just did not sound right!
